Our Mission
Expand access to youth sports through assistance, equipment, mentorship, and community partnerships.
Dreams in Reach is being built to help children access sports, mentorship, equipment, and community support—regardless of financial barriers.
Dreams in Reach was founded by Guadalupe “Lupe” Quezada and Erika Quezada, a husband-and-wife team committed to creating opportunities that empower children and strengthen communities.
As parents of three, they understand both the life-changing value of youth sports and the financial pressure that comes with registration, equipment, uniforms, travel, training, and competition expenses.
Their goal is to collaborate with families, schools, coaches, businesses, healthcare organizations, and community partners to help more children discover their talents and reach their full potential.
Expand access to youth sports through assistance, equipment, mentorship, and community partnerships.
A community where every child can explore their interests and participate regardless of family income.
Lead with inclusion, transparency, compassion, and responsible stewardship as the organization grows.
Dreams in Reach grew from our family’s personal experience with youth sports and community service.
Lupe’s passion for helping people led him to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University Channel Islands and build a career serving the community through nonprofit workforce development and youth programs.
Erika immigrated from Mexico with her family at age six. Her father coached soccer for more than 20 years, helping organize fields, registrations, fundraising, and opportunities for young athletes.
Guadalupe Jr. began soccer at age four and now participates in competitive club soccer. Isabella explored several activities before discovering gymnastics and reaching the Bronze competitive level. Their youngest child, Xochitl, is just beginning her own journey.
Seeing how quickly sports costs add up inspired Lupe and Erika to build an organization that can help families whose children have passion and potential but limited resources.
“This is more than an organization. It is our family’s commitment to helping other families.”
These programs will launch as our structure, partnerships, and funding are established.
